Phlebotomy
The Phlebotomy program prepares students to seek entry-level employment as phlebotomists and prepares them for a certification exam.
WHAT YOU DO — Phlebotomists draw blood; work with customers; label drawn blood for testing or processing; enter patient information into a database; and assemble and maintain medical instruments such as needles, test tubes, and blood vials.
PROGRAM LENGTH — 12–20 weeks
PROGRAM DELIVERY — BLENDED (mostly online with in-person lab and externship components)
PROGRAM COST — $1,999
CERTIFICATION OPPORTUNITY — Upon completion, students are prepared to take the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification exam offered by the National Healthcareer Association.
